B Lab is the nonprofit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
Globally there are now over 7400 B Corps, employing over 660,000 people in 92 countries across 161 industries with 1 unifying goal: to build an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet.
In an Irish context, we proudly have 21 B Corps. Additionally, 34 Irish companies are currently undergoing assessment by B Lab for certification, and another 500 Irish companies have utilised B Lab’s tools to measure and enhance their impact in the past year. This rapid growth makes Ireland one of the fastest-growing B Corp communities worldwide.
