Peter is Managing Director, Governance and ESG at FTI Consulting. He advises some of the world’s largest public and private companies on corporate governance, with a particular focus on corporate reporting, stakeholder engagement, remuneration, and the development of ESG and sustainability strategies in line with the evolving expectations of institutional shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
As part of his experience in these areas, Peter has advised on significant activist defense programmes – in response to both financial and socially focused campaigns – in the US and Europe. He was previously employed at Glass Lewis, the world’s leading independent proxy adviser. As Lead Analyst for Northern Europe, he led a team of six ESG analysts, providing research reports and voting recommendations to the world’s largest institutional investors on executive compensation, board composition and shareholder proposals.
