Owen Stephens

Owen is a Chartered Building Services Engineer (CPEng MCIBSE) and Sustainability Manager at PJ Hegarty. He joined the company in 2016 and has nearly 20 years of experience across Ireland and Australia in building services design, project management, and sustainability leadership. In his current role, Owen plays an integral role in PJ Hegarty’s sustainability strategy and reporting, including the production of the company’s annual sustainability report. Since 2021, he has implemented key ESG workstreams such as carbon footprinting and target setting, climate transition planning, double materiality assessment, and responsible sourcing of materials. He also oversees Mechanical and Electrical services across all PJ Hegarty projects.
