Caoimhe is a senior leader in sustainability and corporate affairs with over 20 years of global experience in communications, ESG strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Her career spans roles in the European Commission, financial services, government, and the extractives and agribusiness sectors.

She began her career at the European Commission in Brussels after completing her Master’s in Economic Science at UCD, before joining Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications as a public affairs consultant. After relocating to London in 2001, she held key communications roles at the London Metal Exchange and Standard Chartered, working across London, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

She followed Lord Mervyn Davies to UK Trade & Investment, where at age 35 she became Managing Director of Marketing Communications. There, she helped develop the ‘Britain is GREAT’ campaign to promote UK trade and investment post-financial crisis.

In 2012, she joined BHP leading sustainability and public affairs for EMEA and later relocated to Melbourne as VP of Employee Engagement and Communications. She played a central role in BHP’s internal engagement during the demerger of South 32, and later became Chief Communications Officer at AGL, supporting the company’s renewable transition.

Today, she is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Fyffes, the tropical fresh produce company, where she leads sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and ethical supply chain strategy. She chairs Fyffes’ Sustainability Committee, has driven its human rights agenda and public reporting, and established its first ethics committee and code of conduct.

As an adopted person, Caoimhe is deeply committed to child welfare and serves on the board of UNICEF Ireland. She lives in South Dublin with her husband and two teenage children.
