Fiacre joined Encirc, a leading glass container manufacturer, in 1998 and has since held a range of leadership roles spanning planning, sales, marketing, and sustainability. In 2020, he was appointed Sustainability Director, reflecting his deep expertise and long-standing commitment to environmental and social progress within the business and beyond.
Fiacre is an alumnus of the Timoney Leadership Institute, holds an MBA from Ulster Business School, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). His work in sustainability has earned him several industry honours, including The Drinks Business ‘Green Personality of the Year’, the George Dawson Award for services to the environment in Northern Ireland and the Work and Employment awards Business leader of the year.
Fiacre is a member of Business in the Community NI’s Environmental Leadership and Climate Champions teams, sits on the executive leadership team of British Glass, and is a board member of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. He also contributes to the Empowering Communities for Climate Action project and serves on the Department for the Economy’s Community Decarbonisation Pathway Committee
