Sarah has spent more than 20 years in the procurement field. She is passionate about sustainability, and one of her main aims is to implement procurement practices that support biodiversity and the environment and contribute towards Ireland’s sustainability goals.
Her career began at Coillte CGA as a procurement category manager for professional services. She rose to the position of procurement manager for the company’s Land Solutions Division, which delivers large-scale, high value procurement projects, many of which are connected to the construction and renewable energy sectors.
Sarah began a new role as procurement manager in FuturEnergy Ireland when the company launched in 2021. The renewable energy development company is a stand-alone joint venture between Coillte and ESB. At FuturEnergy Ireland, she has overseen significant procurement projects for both the development and delivery phases of the business portfolio, including an innovation partnership process centred on long duration energy storage technologies and establishing key framework agreements that enable the effective delivery of important equipment supply and construction contracts for onshore wind energy projects.
