Bio: Aebhín Cawley is founder and CEO of Scott Cawley, the market leading Irish ecological consultancy which advises organisations on how to protect and restore biodiversity. Scott Cawley provides expert but practical and hands on advice including the collection of data on biodiversity, undertaking surveys for habitats and species, preparing biodiversity management plans, and implementing habitat creation and restoration work. Aebhín is an experienced ecologist practicing in Ireland for over 20 years and has been influential in the evolution of ecological survey and impact assessment practice in Ireland, through capacity-building work, including training at a central and local government level, and preparing guidelines. Aebhín was accepted into the KPMG and Enterprise Ireland supported female entrepreneur programme Going for Growth, as well as the EY Winning Women programme.
