James McManus

James is an entrepreneur, sustainable business champion, endurance athlete, and high-altitude mountaineer. He is the founder of Earth’s Edge, an award-winning travel company that became Ireland’s 5th B Corp in 2021. Upon achieving B Corp status for his own company, James made it his mission to grow the B Corp community in Ireland. This mission is progressing at speed as Ireland is now home to 21 B Corps. Another 34 Irish companies have submitted for B Corp certification and an additional 500 Irish businesses are currently preparing for submission. Away from the desk, James spends most of his time training in the mountains as he is aiming to be the first Irish person to summit Mount Everest without the use of bottled oxygen.
