Jana Platau-Wagner

Jana is in charge of double materiality assessments and CSRD disclosure strategy in her company. Most recently she was the Head of Sustainability at Zurich Insurance Europe AG, leading sustainability strategy and vision for the organisation, aligning it with the emerging regulatory frameworks and best practices in the industry. She has over 13 years of experience in sustainability, climate risk, and ESG consulting, working with financial services companies, technology, start-ups, and Fortune 500 institutions. She holds an MBA from Trinity Business School and an MSc in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University, Netherlands – she also holds a GARP SCR certificate, and a PMP certificate. She is also a member of the EFRAG Insurance Advisory Panel, a non-executive director on the board of Global Action Plan Ireland and Lead for Ireland of the Climate Cocktail Club.
